Jill Suetens has a master in Germanic philology, and studied with an Erasmus exchange program at Oxford University, Westminster College. She worked as a commercial advisor for the UK Embassy in Brussels (DTI), for the Flemish Export Agency called Export Vlaanderen at the time – now Flanders Investment and Trade and for the US Embassy in Brussels. Throughout her career she focused on helping companies doing business abroad. Her love for Antwerp brought her to this city, where she currently works at the active Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Manager of the International Department. She loves good food, books, her family, long walks, swimming and travelling – not necessarily in that order.
